H. Murray Todd, M.D., F.A.A.N. is a board certified neurologist, educator and advocate for Alzheimer’s patients who has been widely recognized for leadership in his profession and community.
He graduated from the University of Miami, School of Medicine, interned and spent five years in the United States Navy, reaching the rank of Lt. Commander before joining Neurologic Consultants in 1975.

He has received the Alzheimer Advocacy Award from Broward County’s Alzheimer’s Coordinating Council. He has been a founding member and continues to be board member of the Alzheimer’s Family Center. He was the Alzheimer’s Family Center honoree and has been honored by Broward Health as the Physician of the Year.

Dr. Todd is currently the founder and medical director of the Neurological Institute and Memory Disorder Center at North Broward Medical Center. He is presently a voluntary clinical professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurology for Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also has voluntary faculty positions at the University of Florida College of Medicine and University of Miami School of Medicine.

Thomas C. Hammond, M.D., FAAN is board certified in both internal medicine,neurology, and Neuroimaging. His practice focuses primarily on Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders, stroke and Neuroimaging. Dr. Hammond graduated from New York University School of Medicine and completed a full internal medicine residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a neurology residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City, where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified in both neurology and internal medicine and was named a Fellow in the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN) in 1996. He is currently the Director of Neurologic Services and Stroke Director at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale and Medical Director of MRI Imaging at Neurologic Consultants, P.A.. He also directs the Neuro-Diagnostic Studies Laboratories at Holy Cross Hospital. He is committed to community outreach and serves as a medical director of the South Florida Chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association (APDA).

Dr. Hammond is regularly listed as one of the Top Doctors in South Florida in various publications. Hospital affiliations include Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, North Broward Medical Center, Imperial Point Medical Center and Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Hammond also instructs second-year osteopathic medical students at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in the topics of Parkinson’s disease, movement disorder and headache.

Medical Director of Research for Neurologic Consultants, Jonathan O. Harris, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist and internist who has dedicated his career to advancing medical knowledge while providing exceptional patient care. He has extensive experience as Principal Investigator in clinical studies designed to improve treatments for Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, migraine, Parkinson’s disease, peripheral neuropathy and other neurological conditions.

Before joining Neurologic Consultants in 1995, he was a senior staff fellow in neuroimmunology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Harris graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an M.D. Degree in 1982 and served his residency at University of Miami affiliated hospitals. He is currently president of the Broward Stroke Council and medical director for the North Broward Comprehensive Stroke Center. A noted speaker and educator, he is clinical assistant professor of neurology for Nova Southeastern University and serves on the professional advisory committee of the South Florida Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Marc A. Swerdloff, M.D. is Board Certified in neurology and NeuroImaging. He is a distinguished physician and medical educator who was named a “Super Doctors in South Florida” honoree in 2008 and 2009. Since joining Neurologic Consultants in 1987 his practice has included treating Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, myasthenia gravis, headache syndromes and cerebrovascular disease. Dr. Swerdloff has served as chairman of the Department of Medicine at Holy Cross Hospital and North Broward Medical Center. He is a voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at Nova Southeastern School of Osteopathic Medicine and the University of Miami. North Broward Hospital District and Nova Southeastern University have honored him for his longtime dedication to the training of family medicine physicians. Dr. Swerdloff received his M.D. degree cum laude from Albany Medical Center in New York and served his residency and a post-graduate fellowship at Jackson Memorial Medical Center and the Veterans Administration in Miami. Hospital affiliations include Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, North Broward Medical Center, Imperial Point Medical Center and Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

Randi Weitz, Psy.D.

Randi L. Weitz, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist on staff with Neurologic Consultants. Dr. Weitz graduated Magna Cum Laude from State University of New York at Albany, and completed her doctorate at Nova Southeastern University, which is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Weitz completed her internship training in psychotherapy, neuropsychology and psycho-educational evaluations, with post-doctoral fellowship specialization in the neuropsychological assessment and treatment of patients with traumatic brain injury. Dr. Weitz is fully licensed to practice in the state of Florida, and offers multiple areas of focus including neuropsychological and psychological assessments, and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families with issues related to depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, somatic complaints, and caregiver education, among others. Dr. Weitz is affiliated with The Memory Disorder Center of North Broward Medical Center. She also provides pediatric and adolescent psycho-educational evaluations for giftedness, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities and behavioral difficulties. In addition, she participates in clinical drug trials in the evaluation of patient cognitive status.
